Bring your skills to the 2020 Kenworth Dealer of the Year! Truck Enterprises, Inc. along with Kenworth Sales Co., a 35-location Kenworth and Isuzu truck dealership group, is looking for a Truck Sales Representative to join our Manassas, VA team.

JOB SUMMARY:
The primary function of the Truck Sales Representative is to solicit and assist customers in the purchasing of trucks.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Solicits sales of used trucks marketed by the Company. Maintains market penetration as required by the Sales Manger .
  • Assists the customer in identifying what model and components will suit his/her needs. Coordinates with the Truck Sales Manager on all Truck Sales.
  • Creates and submits a written proposal for truck sales identifying model, component specification, build schedule and cost to customer for acceptance. Coordinates all such bids with the Truck Sales Manager to assure accuracy.
  • Assists Finance & Insurance department in completing all paperwork necessary for closing of sale, including payment documentation, licensing, and titling. Coordinates closing with Finance Manager.
  • Assists customer with any problems which may arise in connection with the sale of the equipment.
  • Maintains courteous and continuing relations with customer base and working knowledge of customers' base industries and equipment needs.
  • Maintains a superior level of knowledge and expertise in the trucking industry in general and Kenworth Trucks in particular. Attends such training courses and seminars as required by Corporate Sales Director.
  • Communicates with Sales Staff and Receptionist as to whereabouts.
  • Truck Salesperson’s work day shall always start and end physically present at the Dealership. Unless previously approved by the Truck Sales Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English instructions and information
  • High school diploma or the equivalent
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Familiarity with and willingness to learn trucking Industry
  • Knowledgeable with computer systems, ten-key calculator, and large data bases
  • Valid Driver's License 
  • Professional personal appearance
