Bring your skills to the 2020 Kenworth Dealer of the Year! Truck Enterprises, Inc. along with Kenworth Sales Co., a 34-location Kenworth and Isuzu truck dealership group, is looking for a Receptionist/Cashier to join our Manassas, VA team.

JOB SUMMARY:
The primary function of the Receptionist/Cashier is to coordinate all communications with the public, and assist the District Office Manager with record keeping, cash sales, and paperwork.

SCHEDULE: Part-time Evenings & Saturday's
 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answers all incoming phone calls, directs them to the appropriate party or takes a message.
• Greets members of the public and directs them to the appropriate party or facilitates their requests.
• Maintains a courteous and efficient image in dealing with the public.
• Responsible for knowing the whereabouts of all employees during the course of business hours.
• Compiles and maintains files of purchase orders to be used to clear invoices for payment.
• Files correspondence such as shipping memos, invoices, packing slips and other records.
• Sorts and distributes mail daily.
• Maintains cash sales daily and sends paperwork to main office, deposits checks, electronically, prepares deposits and processes credit card payments.
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to read and comprehend English instructions and information.
• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Must type 50 wpm, and be able to efficiently operate telephone switchboard.
• Familiarity with trucking industry, computer systems, ten-key calculator, and large data bases.
• Professional personal appearance.
• Excellent, friendly communication and organization skills.
