Bring your skills to the 2020 Kenworth Dealer of the Year! Truck Enterprises, Inc. along with Kenworth Sales Co., a 35-location Kenworth and Isuzu truck dealership group, is looking for a Accounting Manager to join our Harrisonburg, VA team.
JOB SUMMARY:
The primary function of the Accounting Manager is to provide high-level support to the executive management team as they manage a company’s accounting and financial activities. Oversee the accounting staff and as a team, provide support as needed to managers throughout the Company.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organizes and supervises dealership accounting policies, procedures,and standards.
- Assists upper management with the development of financial objectives for the branch as a whole and for each profit and cost center.
- Assists upper management in analyzing such financial standards and recommends corrective action, when applicable (e.g. trend analysis, forecasts, budgets, industry standards).
- Prepares and reviews, and distributes accurate and timely financial statements
- Assists with management of accounting, auditing, and budgeting within the organization.
- Supervises the accounting staff.
- Manages data processing work.
- Responsible for internal control.
- Ensures financial records are maintained in accordance with GAAP and Kenworth Factory Reporting Standards.
- Works to reconcile accounting inaccuracies or imbalances
- Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English instructions and information.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail orientated and highly organized
- Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent critical thinking skills
- Solid understanding of GAAP and applicable regulations
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Highly skilled in math, accounting and financial processes
- High school diploma or the equivalent
