Bring your skills to the 2020 Kenworth Dealer of the Year! Truck Enterprises, Inc. along with Kenworth Sales Co., a 34-location Kenworth and Isuzu truck dealership group, is looking for a Warehouse Parts Clerk to join our Harrisonburg, VA team.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Parts Clerk is responsible for the daily functions related to data entry, scanning, filing, purchase orders, return memos, receiving, shipping, stocking, cycle counting inventory and cash receipts.
 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Matches, scans, files all departmental paperwork and transmits spreadsheets daily.
• Balances cash, checks and credit card purchases daily.
• Unpack and check incoming material for damage and correct quantity and entering all data necessary to receive parts into the inventory control system.
• Package and ship material as specified on authorized shipping documents i.e. invoices, return merchandise requests, etc.
• Researches and clears outstanding purchase orders and returns aged over 60 days.
• Posts credit memos, stock transfers and special invoices on a daily basis for all departments.
• Assists Parts Manager with special projects as requested, including annual physical inventory count.
• Will also be trained in all other functional aspects of Parts Department Operations including but not limited to parts research, invoicing, customer service etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Clear legible handwriting.
• Computer terminal data input.
• Understanding of office procedures, including filing, correspondence, basic accounting.
• Knowledge of bills of lading, freight bills.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• High school diploma or the equivalent
• Ability to read and comprehend English instructions and information.
